Position Overview

The Waste Transfer Station Gatekeeper plays a crucial role in managing the acceptance of waste materials and providing top-notch customer service at the gatehouse. This position requires individuals who can assess materials, collect fees, and guide customers while maintaining safety and operational standards.

As a Casual Gatekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, engaging with customers, and ensuring proper documentation and safety practices are upheld.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to their responsibilities.

  • Experience in waste management or similar customer service roles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong initiative in completing assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work varied rosters, including weekends.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical and Criminal History Check.

We are looking for someone who is computer literate and ensuring accurate reconciliation. Familiarity with waste transfer station operations is highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits
